Getting into Macro Photography

Getting into Macro Photography

I recently bought a Sigma 105mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM Macro and have started to play around with macro photography. I’ve been doing mostly landscape photography for a while now, but opening up my horizon to macro has been a great journey this far! I now always have my 16-35mm lens and this new Macro lens with me on all photo excursions. Here are some shots from the Sigma lens:

Creating a time-lapse with D-link DCS-930L

Creating a time-lapse with D-link DCS-930L

I used this workflow to create the time-lapse below:
1. Enabled FTP schedule from 06:30 to 19:00 in DCS-930L camera web interface. One image per 2 minutes.
2. Import to Lightroom: auto adjustment + highlights -100 + sharpness +40
3. Export from Lightroom
4. Import image sequence to VirtualDub. Change framerate to 25 and add MSU deflicker and motion blur filters
5. Export full uncompressed avi from VirtualDub
6. Import into Sony Movie Studio and finally export finished video
